It's been a long week, so far, covering the New Hampshire division II high school state ski meet week. It's been a blast to watch the kids push to the edge both in speed at the girls and boys alpine meets and also their physical limits at the cross country meet. Tonight is the state jumping meet which puts on display their bravery facing down the 30 meter jump and very short run-out. The alpine meets included both giant slalom and slalom races and the cross country meet included both classical style and skate skiing.
I've been able to upload the photos pretty quickly as the week has progressed and hopefully everyone can enjoy the incredible athleticism by our local kids. The Eagle's started off the week with a win by the girls alpine at Cranmore Mountain continued by the boys win in cross country meet at Great Glen Trails and followed by the boys alpine win yesterday at Waterville Valley. The jumping meet tonight should be a close contest as Plymouth high school edged the Eagles in last Friday's pre-state meet at the jump on the Kanc.
